For some reason, I became rather attached to this book. What made this mob romance so great was that it involved a do-over.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this book is. one of my favourite things to happen this year. Nick and Lyla's pairing was made in paradise. The Mafia and a second opportunity both play important roles in this story. I don't usually enjoy second chance love stories, but the author did a fantastic job with this one.

This book did not end as I had feared; the ending was suspenseful, and the spice was delicious. There's a lot more I could say, but I don't want to give anything away. I admire the writer for coming up with this plot twist! This is a book that I intend to reread.

Even if it wasn't my favourite Farnsworth book, it was still fantastic. The Mafia romance was great and the characters were top-notch, as per usual.

Combining a second-chance romance with a mafia romance is a brilliant idea. Nick and Lyla meet and fall in love during their time together at university, but then one day Nick disappears.

Lyla finally tells Nick's best friend something she's been keeping from him for the past nine years. Nick's life changed forever as he learned the truth.

What an incredible love story based on second chances! Everything having to do with the mafia was fantastic.
